When my mother passed away somewhat unexpectedly, we had a green burial for her just a few days later. That means no embalming, no traditional casket, no synthetic materials at all. We didn't expect it would be such a challenge to get flowers that would meet the requirements!
Most florists required more time to put anything together, and the ones that I contacted who could do it in time, weren't at all helpful with the "green" aspect of it.
But when I called Brookswood Florist and spoke with Crystal, she immediately started thinking of how to accommodate the request. In the end, she put together two beautiful bouquets of fresh cut flowers, tied with natural twine, then placed in a shallow cardboard box for transportation. She had shaped them so that we could place them end to end, creating a casket spray by filling in the centre with loose flowers that she included, and showed me how best to place.
It ended up looking beautiful! We are so thankful for Crystal's kindness and helpfulness, listenimg to us and taking the time to come up with a solution when others didn't want to make that bit of extra effort.

I never thought I’d have a go to flower shop but I guess I do now. They’re so reasonably priced and fast. I also appreciate them packaging the vases so I can safely transport the flowers. I ordered them on two occasions and very happy with the results. Thank you!

Brookswood florist is now my go too. I would usually buy flowers from the grocery store or any random florist I drove by. After visiting this place 6 months ago I have had nothing but the best service from exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. I am just new to taking care of plants and have had some trouble .. I stopped in just to just to get some advice on a plant I couldn’t save and the lovely lady was so helpful. Not only did I get great advice, but she gave me a new complimentary plant. I was more than willing to pay for it and just wanted some help but she insisted.
I can’t thank you enough for being so kind and helpful. You are amazing. !

Love coming to this florist shop. Mihee always creates beautiful arrangements and is accommodating, helpful, and talented. We picked out a selection of flowers for our order and were blown away with this stunning arrangement. Thank you! We will be back!

Crystal and the Brookswood florist team are amazing! We went in a couple of weeks ago to order some extra boutineers and Crystal took the time and created a bunch with our preferred flowers so we could have the perfect ones for our weddding day! Fast forward to the Thursday before our wedding, our flowers arrived and they were brown and wilted (NOT FROM BROOKSWOOD FLORIST- from another vendor) We called Brookswood on a Thursday and they worked some magic and we able to use some of the existing flowers that were okay, and added some other flowers. She took our vision exactly and the flowers turned out absolutely beautiful. They were fantastic at making an unfortunate situation as least stressful as possible. Thank you!
